After a month of dodging spring thunderstorms, we landed on a day that couldn’t have been more perfect for Natalie and Michael’s private estate engagement session! All that March rain had worked its magic – it gifted us with a rolling field of emerald grass, the delicate budding leaves on the winter-trodden trees, and sunshine that couldn’t wait to smile down on a handful of cheerful balloons!
When you spend an extra hour at your first coffee meeting talking like you’ve known each other for years, you know the engagement session is going to be amazing. And we were so right!
Besides the epic balloons, their perfectly coordinated outfits, and a drop-dead sunset, one of my favorite memories of this session was when Natalie grabbed our camera and snapped a picture of Joel and me posing with the balloons as we headed back for an outfit change. Natalie is a photographer herself, and she gave us such a fun gift! Thank you, sweet friend!
After having way too much fun playing with some balloons in a romantic spring meadow, we took a quick journey to capture some final sunset moments before our last goodbye hugs. It’s been super hard for me to narrow down my favorites from this session, but I think those last sunset shots might just have an edge on my heart. :)
From dancing in the field to snuggling in the sunset – you guys were epic. Thank you so much for bringing us into your lives and giving us this gift of walking beside you during this time! <3
Bonus picture! Natalie + Michael make “The Dip” look so easy and graceful! You guys rocked it!! <3
